The FIFAWorld Cup2018 is the 21st of its kind.
- The tournament will take place in Russia from 14 June to 15 July 2018.
- The matches will be held in 11 Russian cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Samara, Volgograd, Saransk and Rostov-na-Donu.
- 32 national teams from six continents, including the host country Russia, will participate in the championship,
Entry into the territory of the Russian Federation
During Russia's bid to host the World Cup, the Russian President Vladimir Putin promised to take all necessary measures to facilitate entry into his country. As part of the preparations being made to ensure the best global event, the Russian government has passed a number of decisions and legislations that make it easier for football lovers to attend the tournament. Thus, it is possible to enter the territory of the Russian Federation in two ways:
First: by obtaining a regular visa, which in turn is done in two ways
1- Tourist visas to be obtained through travel and tourism offices.
2- An invitation from a relative or friend who is a citizen of the Russian Federation or who has a valid residence permit there.
Second: by obtaining a "fan-id". This method,which stipulates the entry into Russian territory without obtaining a visa in advance, was agreed between the Russian authorities and the FIFA in the summer of 2006.

Procedures for issuing a "fan-id" and how to use it
Fill in the registration form including the following details: name, surname, date and place of birth, nationality, national passport information, personal photo, mobile number, e-mail address and P. O. Box No through which to send the Fan-id, ticket or reservation number.
Estimated time for processing – by Russian authorities – the application for Fan-id is 72 hours.
Fan-id can only be obtained after booking or purchasing a ticket to enter the stadium.
The stadium can be entered only with the "Fan-id" and the entrance ticket.
Children also need to obtain a "Fan-id".
The holder of a Fan-id can enter Russia 10 days before the opening of the tournament and exit the country 10 days after the conclusion of the tournament.
Transportation in the cities that host the matches of the tournament is free by buses and metro, and between those cities is also free by rail, provided that a reservastion is made 72 hours earlier. Transportation by Aero Express trains from airports is free.
Those who don't have Fan-ids can enter Russia on the basis of a tourist visa and then get a Fan-id from a Fan-id issuance center and enjoy the benefits.
Special centers to issue Fan-ids will be set up near the stadiums.

Ticket Prices
FIFA has announced the prices of tickets for the 2018 World Cup finals in Russia. Tickets come in four categories divided by price including the Russian fans ticket, the cheapest of which is worth 1280 rubles (about $ 18), the foreigners ticket, the cheapest of which is worth $ 105 and the ticket of July 15th 2018 final match to be held in Moscow, the most expensive of which is worth $ 1,110.
