All those coming to the Russian Federation must abide by the general laws and regulations and respect the ethics of cultures, religions, customs and traditions. Violation of this is punishable by law:

  • Non-smoking in public facilities. On 23 February, 2013 the Russian President issued a law banning smoking in public places.
  • According to the Russian system, it is prohibited to carry firearms or white firarms, such as knives, and it is punishable by imprisonment.
  • The need to deal with the trusted offices licensed by the State when buying tickets for accommodation, travel and transportation to avoid fraud and theft.
  • It is necessary to carry a copy of the passport because it is the official document recognized by the competent authorities in Russia.
